This actually sounds like a nightmare. Anytime your nail touches the back it leaves a white mark. I keep AirPods in the same pocket as my phone so that case would just get sanded down over time. Interesting concept but Iโd rather have a hard flat coating than fine sandpaper on the back.

I had the DLC coated Apple Watch and bumped it into an aluminum handrail. The aluminum was embedded into the coating and would not rub off. This seems like a much better type of coating.
Same coating, i think, on some of my knives. First ones I got, I thought they were getting scratched so easily. Especially with the history of black blades on cheap knives back in the day. But with the new super steels and DLC or TiCN coatings, any scratches are usually just marks, or particles, left by other objects that can just be wiped off.

I was doing some installation inside a Lenco BearCat armored truck and bumped my knee against the corner of an interior steel plate, the kind of casual knock youโd barely notice against normal car trim. i everyday carry an S25ultra and a S25 too. i keep both on me at all times. i also carry a bag with me that has my Tab_A11+ in it. they are with me at all times. i never go anywhere without them. i am a samsung fanboy. cant beat a samsung galaxy S series. the oneplus phones are neat but a samsung S series is reliable and holds up well over time. i have a little S10e that i have as a backup phone laying around. it doesnt get updates anymore but its a great car phone and i put a new battery and screen on it and new backglass too recently. i fully refurbished it. it cost me more than the phone was worth but its about the nostalgia factor. i am a phone guy. its my hobby. โค๐

As someone who has owned ceramic watches eventually you will get a scratch. Also its why my stainless steel fridge has a giant scratch I was drunk and the watch smacked the handle.

Iโll take a case rather than having a scratch magnet phone that I have to give a full rub down every time I take it out.
As someone who has owned ceramic watches eventually you will get a scratch. Also its why my stainless steel fridge has a giant scratch I was drunk and the watch smacked the handle.
